WCAG 2.1 Level AA — Conformant

Our Commitment

Sentinel Support is committed to ensuring that our platform is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe accessibility is a baseline requirement — not a feature — and it is built into every part of our development process.

We actively work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This standard describes how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Conformance Status

Sentinel Support is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Fully conformant means the content meets all WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria without any known exceptions.

We also meet the requirements of:

What We've Implemented

Full keyboard navigation throughout the platform
Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
4.5:1 minimum color contrast ratio (light & dark modes)
ARIA roles, labels, and live regions for dynamic content
Modal dialogs with focus trapping and proper role semantics
Explicit labels or aria-label on all form inputs
Autocomplete attributes on authentication forms
scope="col" headers on all data tables
Status indicators use color + text, never color alone
Decorative images marked aria-hidden="true"
role="alert" on error messages, role="status" on success
type="button" on all non-submit button elements

Testing Methodology

Accessibility is verified through a combination of automated and manual testing:

Accessibility violations are treated as bugs with the same priority as functional defects and are resolved before deployment.

Known Limitations

At the time of this statement, we have no known WCAG 2.1 AA violations. We continuously monitor the platform and resolve issues as they are discovered. If you encounter a barrier that we have not addressed, please let us know.

Technical Specifications

Sentinel Support relies on the following technologies for conformance:

The platform has been tested in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari using their built-in accessibility tools and screen reader support.
